We use hashed IP addresses only — we do not store raw IP addresses for ad metrics, and the hash is used to help de-duplicate and filter traffic.
Ad impressions are server-recorded ad loads and are not guaranteed to be viewable. An impression means the ad was requested/served, not that it was necessarily seen by a human.
Known bots and automated traffic are filtered from reported figures where possible.
